News, coffee price forecast on July 9, 2025

Coffee prices on July 9, 2025 are forecast to remain stable or may increase slightly due to many domestic supporting factors, although pressure from the international market is still present.

Domestic coffee price forecast on July 9, 2025

Domestic coffee prices are likely to remain stable or increase slightly by VND100-200/kg in some localities. The main reason is that coffee supply among people is scarce due to the end of the season, low selling pressure helps prices remain stable.

In addition, rising production costs, including fertilizer, labor and transportation, also put pressure on prices to not fall too much. Slightly increased domestic demand for roasting from some businesses also contributed to maintaining stable coffee prices.

International coffee price forecast on July 9, 2025

In the world market, coffee prices are forecast to continue to be under downward pressure due to strong corrections on both Robusta and Arabica exchanges. If this downward trend continues, it will negatively affect domestic market sentiment.

However, in the medium term, international coffee prices still have room to grow thanks to record low global inventories, strong consumer demand in the Northern Hemisphere and the impact of adverse weather in Brazil, which could reduce the next crop. Vietnam still has advantages in terms of output and quality, but high logistics and transportation costs could be a challenge when exporting to distant markets.
