On the afternoon of July 9, continuing the program of surveying, visiting and working at border communes, the provincial delegation led by comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and worked at Lung Cu Border Guard Station and surveyed tourism activities at the Vuong House relic site, Sa Phin commune.

The delegation included members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Ly Thi Lan, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the XVth tenure of Tuyen Quang province; Pham Thi Minh Xuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hau Minh Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Gia Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ma Thi Thuy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the XVth tenure of Tuyen Quang province; and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

The Commander of Lung Cu Border Guard Station presented the working delegation with a flag that was hung on Lung Cu National Flagpole.

Lung Cu Border Post manages and protects a 26.434 km long border, including 26 landmarks, of which the land border is 14.163 km long and the water border is 12.180 km long with China. Over the years, commanders, officers and soldiers have always upheld a sense of responsibility, not afraid of difficulties, and excellently completed all tasks assigned by the Party, State, Army and People.

The Party Committee and the Station Commander regularly advise and closely coordinate with local Party Committees and authorities to build a strong grassroots political system; promote economic, cultural and social development, and improve the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities in the area.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son hopes that the officers and soldiers of the Station will continue to coordinate with other forces to maintain political security and social order and safety in the border area in all situations, in conjunction with continuing to build and rectify the Party, the political system in the border area is clean and strong, and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc.

Actively coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to promote the implementation of national target programs to create strong changes in socio-economy and improve the quality of life of people in border areas.

This relic is not only the pride of the Vuong family but also a symbol of culture, history and solidarity in the northernmost land. Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son hopes that the locality will continue to pay attention and promote this relic to become one of the attractive tourist and research destinations for domestic and international tourists.
