With more than 5,000 m2 of land for organic vegetable and fruit production, Thanh Nien Thanh Sen Cooperative (Tran Phu Ward) has invested more than 200 million VND to install an automatic drip irrigation system using Israeli technology. With this method, farmers can proactively regulate the amount of water and fertilizer for their crops, helping to save water and labor costs.

Mr. Dang Van Cuong - Director of Thanh Sen Youth Cooperative shared: "The irrigation system includes many devices such as: water pipes, valves, sprinklers... The entire irrigation system will be automatically controlled through software installed on the phone. Therefore, no matter where we are, with an internet connection, we can water and fertilize the plants. Besides, with a slow irrigation speed, the water will gradually seep into the soil, the mineral nutrients in the soil will not be washed away, thanks to that, the plants absorb fertilizer better, the development process is more favorable".
Not only applying technology in production, Thanh Sen Youth Cooperative also focuses on deploying digital platforms such as Facebook, Zalo... to promote and consume products. "The process of producing organic vegetables and fruits, applying technology contributes to creating quality products, thanks to which, when promoting on digital platforms, consumption becomes very convenient. On average, each year, Thanh Sen Youth Cooperative supplies the market with about 3-5 tons of vegetables and fruits, 10 tons of Thai guava and seasonal fruits, the estimated profit is more than 1 billion VND" - Mr. Cuong said.

At Van An chicken farm (Toan Luu commune), with a scale of more than 8,000 laying hens, the farm owner has invested billions of dong to build a steam cooling system, a convection fan system, a specialized lighting system... Thanks to that, chicken care is more convenient, saves costs and ensures environmental hygiene.
Specifically, the entire system of water trays and food trays is operated automatically, allowing farm owners to accurately control the chicken's food rations to ensure nutrition and increase the animals' resistance. In addition, this model can also control environmental, temperature and air indicators via phone... creating a favorable living environment for chickens, limiting the invasion of pathogens, saving labor costs and increasing profits.

Not only in cultivation and animal husbandry, with typical OCOP and rural agricultural business and production establishments, the application of digital technology is considered inevitable to change production methods to suit trends and improve product consumption.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang - Director of Phu Sang Seafood Processing Service Cooperative (Thien Cam commune) shared: "To improve the quality and maintain the OCOP star rating for Phu Sang fish sauce products, in addition to focusing on fresh ingredients and traditional salt recipes, I also invested in automatic bottling technology with a budget of more than 750 million VND. This technology not only ensures accuracy and uniformity but also increases productivity, saves labor and ensures food hygiene and safety".

Not only applying technology in production, Phu Sang Seafood Processing Service Cooperative also focuses on market access and trade promotion through digital platforms. “We invest in creating QR codes to publicize product information, increase user trust; link with e-commerce platforms to increase consumption. Currently, Phu Sang fish sauce products have become a familiar item in the provincial market and some localities such as: Da Nang, Hue, Nghe An, Hanoi ... and are exported to the Australian market with a quantity of more than 15,000 liters per year" - Ms. Sang shared.
In order to change the production, management and consumption methods of products, contributing to increasing farmers' income and socio -economic development, in recent times, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ha Tinh has coordinated with localities to deploy software for managing the quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery products associated with electronic traceability. Accordingly, more than 29,000 enterprises, production and business units, and cooperatives have been updated to the software system; more than 100 enterprises, production and business establishments have been trained in applying digital equipment and technology, updating quality management systems, and putting products on e-commerce platforms.

Mr. Pham Nam Anh - Deputy Head of the Department of Rural Development and Quality Management (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ha Tinh) shared: “To develop modern agriculture, the application of digital technology and digital transformation is an inevitable trend. Currently, production models that apply smart technology devices and digital technology are gradually becoming popular and widespread, contributing to changing the thinking of producers and businesses, awakening the potential in agriculture, rural areas and farmers. This is also the premise for Ha Tinh to develop smart agriculture, creating many high-quality agricultural products”.
