Police rescue boy from locked house fire

At 8:56 p.m. on July 8, Vinh Hanh Commune Police and the Chau Thanh Fire Fighting and Rescue Team under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police received a report from local residents about a fire in Vinh Thuan Hamlet.

The Chau Thanh Fire Fighting and Rescue Team mobilized 2 fire trucks, 1 rescue vehicle, 1 pump truck, 3 pumps and 20 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene, coordinating with Vinh Hanh Commune Police to deploy a fire extinguishing plan.

Approaching the burning house, the police discovered the door was locked, with a young boy inside. The police deployed a plan to break down the door to rescue people and extinguish the fire.

By 10:50 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished and the victim was brought out safely.

According to initial information, before the fire broke out, Mr. Nguyen Van L. (the owner of the burnt house) had organized a drinking party at his house. At 8:00 p.m., after the party ended, he locked the door, left his son inside, and went to his neighbor's house about 100 meters away to continue the party.
