Closing ceremony of the National Theater Festival on the image of the People's Public Security soldier

The organizing committee awarded gold medals to individuals.

Along with meaningful political and traditional education activities, the Ministry of Public Security successfully organized the 5th National Professional Stage Arts Festival on "The Image of the People's Public Security Soldier", achieving achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

This year's festival was organized on a grand scale, demonstrating the deep concern of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security in the work of propaganda,education of traditions and spreading the image of police officers to people across the country.

In addition, professional and systematic organization has become the foundation for 21 professional theaters and art troupes to fully promote their creativity and express the unique identity of each region.

After 13 days of competition, the theaters and art units brought 25 plays of many genres, including 15 spoken plays, 4 cheo plays, 2 cai luong plays and 4 operas.

Among them, 2 plays were staged from scripts written by 2 authors who are People's Public Security officers, 7 plays used scripts from Stage Script Writing Camps on the theme "For National Security and Peaceful Life" organized by the Ministry of Public Security. The plays were elaborately and carefully staged by the investment units, highlighting the unique features of regional art forms and cultures; at the same time, vividly depicting and honoring the image of the Public Security soldier on stage.

Playwright Nguyen Dang Chuong delivered a closing speech at the festival.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the festival, Playwright, Dr. Nguyen Dang Chuong affirmed: The 25 works participating in the festival are 25 pieces that create a fairly complete picture of the image of the People's Public Security soldier. That picture tells stories about the police since the country just gained independence, during the two great wars of national defense and the construction and protection of the Vietnamese Fatherland.

The multi-colored picture has vividly depicted many aspects, many fields, many tasks, many challenges, difficulties, many hidden corners of life and in social life that have been and are weighing heavily on the shoulders of the People's Public Security soldiers.

Based on the consultation results of the Jury Council, the Organizing Committee of the Festival of the Ministry of Public Security decided to award Gold Medals to 5 Theaters and art units with excellent performances; Silver Medals to 8 Theaters and art units with good performances; Bronze Medals to 10 Theaters and art units with good performances.

At the same time, 50 Gold Medals were awarded to actors with excellent roles; 50 Silver Medals were awarded to actors with good roles and 50 Bronze Medals were awarded to actors with good roles.
