According to Nguyen Van Hiep, Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorological Station for the Northern Midlands and Delta, on the morning of September 4, storm No. 3 is active in the eastern sea area of the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the storm's center is level 11, gusting to level 13.

In the coming hours, storm No. 3 will continue to move west and west-northwest, with a speed gradually increasing from 10 - 20km/hour. Notably, the storm's intensity will gradually increase, from level 13, gusting to level 16, to level 14, gusting to level 17 at 7am tomorrow morning (September 6).

Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Hanoi City Nguyen Xuan Dai said that in order to proactively respond to the developments of storm No. 3 and the impacts of weather and natural disasters that may occur, the Standing Office has issued an official dispatch requesting districts, towns, departments, branches and sectors to focus on timely and effective implementation of response plans, measures and measures.

The key task is to regularly and closely monitor the developments of storms, weather conditions, rain, floods, landslides on mass media; provide timely warnings to people to proactively prevent; direct and deploy timely response work, appropriate to the specific situation in the locality.

Check and review residential areas along rivers, streams, low-lying areas, high risk of flooding, flash floods, landslides to proactively organize the relocation and evacuation of people when situations arise. At the same time, prepare human resources, materials, and equipment to protect the dike, promptly handle dike incidents from the first hour.
