Recently, The Vietnam Foundation and College Board officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on strategic cooperation in the field ofeducation with the goal of promoting access to high-quality education for students in Vietnam.
The Vietnam Foundation (VNF) is a US non-profit organization founded in 2008. With the mission of improving the quality of life of Vietnamese people through education, VNF has been implementing educational support programs in Vietnam including the Vietnam Open Educational Resources Program (VOER), the Khan Academy Vietnam Program (KAV) and programs to support the visually impaired. In particular, with the KAV Program, VNF is currently the official and sole representative of the Khan Academy organization in the United States. Through the Khan Academy Vietnam program, students from preschool to pre-university have the opportunity to study international standards in Math, SAT, AP, Programming, Internet Safety... at a cost of 0 VND. Currently, there are more than 1 million users (including teachers, students and parents) in Vietnam using Khan Academy in effective teaching and learning.
College Board is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1900, headquartered in New York, USA. With the goal of supporting students in preparing for the transition to university, College Board develops international standardized tests such as SAT, PSAT, AP... and training and scholarship programs such as BigFuture or CSS Profile. Currently, the organization is a partner of more than 6,000 universities and leading educational institutions worldwide .
