The new branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in Vinh Long province was established on the basis of merging the VBSP branches in Tra Vinh, Ben Tre and Vinh Long provinces (old). The decision takes effect from July 1. Mr. Le Hoang Phi was assigned the task of Acting Director of the VBSP Vinh Long branch (photo).

Speaking at the Conference to announce the decision to assign tasks, Mr. Le Hoang Phi respectfully appreciated the leaders of the Central Bank for Social Policies, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies. In his new position, Mr. Le Hoang Phi promises to continue to promote achievements, maintain internal solidarity, improve management and operation efficiency, and strive to complete the assigned tasks well.
In the immediate future, we will focus on completing the 2025 targets and tasks, preparing well for 2026, and advising local Party committees and authorities to effectively implement Directive No. 39 of the Secretariat and the Development Strategy of the VBSP to 2030. We will continue to maintain commune transaction points to ensure convenient service to the people, in line with the spirit of "Understanding the people's hearts, serving wholeheartedly".
The Vinh Long branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies is currently implementing more than 19 policy credit programs of the Central Bank for Social Policies, along with a number of projects and lending programs from local budget funds entrusted to the provincial Bank for Social Policies. Policy credit has been effective in contributing to the local implementation of national target programs such as job creation, sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring social security and rural development.
