On the afternoon of July 8, the Chemical Corps held a conference to review the emulation movement "Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings" for the period 2020-2025. Major General Nguyen Dinh Hien, Commander of the Corps participated and directed the conference.
The summary report and comments at the conference affirmed that over the past 5 years, the Program " Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings" has been led and directed by Party committees and commanders at all levels in the Chemical Corps to be widely implemented, comprehensively completing the set goals and contents, and many targets have been excellently completed.
PTTD has directly contributed to the successful completion of the task of ensuring regular and ad hoc logistics. The highlight is that the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units have determined to focus on maintaining strict logistics order and regimes. Emulating "5 good" to improve the quality and efficiency of ensuring all aspects of logistics; building industry standards; innovating and promoting digital transformation in logistics activities.

Over the past 5 years, PTTD at all levels has closely followed the military tasks of each service and unit, proactively grasped the situation, and strictly maintained the SSCĐ logistics duty regime. Organized decentralization, properly and adequately reserved logistics materials and equipment; ensure full and timely availability for tasks; was on SSCĐ duty to protect political events, holidays, Tet, during drills and training; well prepared logistics forces, means, and materials to participate in preventing and combating natural disasters, epidemics, fires and explosions, etc.
The program “Building a good military feeding unit and good military supply management” has been implemented with quality from agencies to grassroots units, creating positive changes. Emulation activities in ensuring daily meals for soldiers have been promoted; the quantity of some main foods compared to the annual basic quantity, such as average meat, fresh fish, and green vegetables, all reached 103 to 113%.

The average result of military supply work reached 120% compared to the previous period; 100% of agencies and units in the military branch meet the standard of "Good military feeding unit, good military supply management". PTTD achieved practical results, contributing to improving and enhancing the quality of soldiers' lives; in which the price of products put into meals was always lower than the market price; the value of revenue from increased production and service activities with revenue reached an average of more than 1.5 million VND/person/year...
The PTTD has built a “5-good military medical unit” and improved the quality of health care for soldiers, which has been paid attention to and effectively implemented by Party committees and commanders at all levels. The annual rate of healthy soldiers always reaches over 99.2%, exceeding the annual target of the Ministry of National Defense by 0.7%. The average result of military medical work reaches 109% compared to the previous period.
The highlight of the "Safe, economical and effective management and use of petroleum" is the exploitation, creation of sources, reception, preservation, distribution, ensuring sufficient and timely petroleum, equipment, and petroleum supplies for tasks; doing a good job of fire prevention and fighting. Implementing good savings according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense, not allowing loss or waste of petroleum due to subjective reasons. The results of petroleum work reached 150% compared to the previous period.

The conference determined that the entire Corps should focus on thoroughly grasping the tasks and commands of logistics and technical work; organizing emulation to ensure all aspects of logistics for training tasks, combat readiness, response to chemical, biological, nuclear radiation incidents, and new and unexpected tasks.
Further improve the quality of soldiers' nutrition, promote increased production, maintain and consolidate the existing concentrated livestock farming model, invest in developing new models in the direction of biology associated with environmental protection. Strive for the revenue from increased production and logistics services to reach 1,450,000 VND/person/year or more; maintain a healthy army of over 99%...
