Police ask MR PIPS victims to come forward to get their money back

(QNgTV) - Regarding the case of Fraudulent appropriation of property led by Mr. Pips (Pho Duc Nam), Hanoi City Police requested that victims related to Pho Duc Nam's websites and trading floors contact Hanoi City Police to be received, verified and refunded according to the provisions of law.

Previously, authorities determined that there were at least 2,600 victims and the total amount of money the victims initially deposited was about 50 million USD.   Meanwhile, up to now, Hanoi City Police have seized a total amount of more than 5,300 billion VND, but have only identified 571 victims.  

Regarding the case, recently, Hanoi Police coordinated with Interpol to arrest Ngo Thi Theu (wife of Le Khac Ngo, also known as Mr Hunter) while the subject was hiding in Thailand, informed the Director of Hanoi Police. In addition, the functional force also arrested Nguyen Thi Thuy (43 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City), the accountant of the fraud ring. Through the investigation, the authorities determined that Mr Pips Pho Duc Nam had deposited 1.2 million Singapore dollars in a Singaporean bank.

Hanoi City Police are coordinating with Interpol in Singapore to freeze this money.
