Ship KN 290, Fisheries Surveillance Squadron No. 2, has completed all preparations to participate in the sea parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This is the first time the Fisheries Surveillance force has participated in this important event.
This year’s parade was held on a special scale. The highlight was the formation review at sea, which for the first time brought together the Navy, Coast Guard, Fisheries Surveillance and Naval Air Force, demonstrating the spirit, strength and determination to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

The event has profound political and defense significance, demonstrating the mettle, maturity and increasingly strong role of maritime law enforcement forces in protecting sea and island sovereignty.
According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Lai - Party Secretary of Fisheries Control Team No. 2, the entire unit has determined that this is a special task in terms of politics, honor and responsibility. Basic on-site training and practice have been completed seriously, ensuring that 100% of officers and fisheries control officers have a firm grasp of their tasks, are steadfast, and are ready to participate in the parade with the highest spirit.

In addition to training, technical and logistical work is carried out closely and synchronously. All items such as equipment maintenance, engine repair, maritime safety inspection, receiving supplies - fuel - food - medical ... are meticulously checked, ensuring absolute safety throughout the journey, training and parade.
On the deck of the KN 290, under hot weather conditions, officers and soldiers are still diligently carrying out their work: from painting the ship's side, maintaining machinery to checking specialized equipment. The work is carried out according to technical and aesthetic standards, with a high sense of responsibility.
Not only preparing equipment, the Fisheries Surveillance force also pays special attention to training in manners, formation, discipline and spirit of cooperation. Fisheries Surveillance officer Nguyen Danh Luong said: "We determine that this is not only a professional task, but also a sacred political mission, demonstrating the image and position of the Fisheries Surveillance force to the entire people and international friends."
Captain of Ship KN 290, Mr. Dinh Hoang Giang emphasized that all officers and fisheries inspectors have entered the final stage with the utmost urgency and determination. “Up to now, all aspects of work have been completed. Ship KN 290 is ready to leave the port, train with other forces and participate in the parade formation,” he said.
The organization of the sea parade is an important highlight in the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This is a step to affirm the strategic thinking and the goal of modernizing the armed forces in the period of deep integration, contributing to maintaining sovereignty, a peaceful and stable environment for national development.
