The Departmentof Education and Training of Ca Mau province said that after checking with related units, there are 456 students from kindergarten to high school in Bac Lieu province (old) who need to transfer schools to follow their parents to work in Ca Mau. This number is expected to be updated depending on the actual situation. The education sector is urgently implementing the reception and arrangement of study places for this number of students. This is an urgent task to create favorable conditions for families before the new school year 2025-2026.

Mr. Ta Thanh Vu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, said: “The education sector has also had plans and arrangements for arranging schools for children of officials from Bac Lieu province (old) who have transferred to Ca Mau to study. This number is evenly distributed at all levels. Therefore, Ca Mau will basically meet the needs of enrollment and school transfer for this number of students. The province also pays special attention and strictly follows the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .”

To create the most favorable conditions for students, the Department of Education and Training has requested schools to prioritize admission and create maximum conditions for students who need to study. In particular, the arrangement of schools is carried out in accordance with the agencies and work units of the students' parents, to ensure convenience in picking up and taking care of their children during the initial period of work transfer. According to the initial survey, students from schools in Bac Lieu (old) transferring to Ca Mau are scattered throughout the wards in the central area of Ca Mau province.

Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School (Tan Thanh Ward) supports parents from Bac Lieu (old) to transfer their children to Ca Mau to study.

At Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School, Tan Thanh Ward , this 2025-2026 school year, it is expected to enroll 1,750 students in all grades. After screening, about 54 students from Bac Lieu Province (old) have applied to study at the school. Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc, Vice Principal of Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School, Tan Thanh Ward, said: "The school has proactively reviewed the number of students, prepared facilities, and is ready to receive students according to the Department's instructions. We are flexible in arranging classes, do not put pressure on the number of students, and ensure the students' right to study."

Many parents whose children have transferred from Bac Lieu (old) to Ca Mau to study expressed their peace of mind and excitement. Ms. Tran Thi Chuc Ly, who is working at the Department of Justice of Ca Mau province, said: “My family is very satisfied with the support from the school. All procedures were guided quickly and clearly.”

Sharing the same view, Mr. Nguyen Quang Khai, working at the Department of Construction of Ca Mau province, also shared: “In the process of withdrawing and submitting the application for transferring schools for my child, from Bac Lieu to Ca Mau was very convenient. In Ca Mau, I also learned about Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School, which is close to my workplace. When I arrived here, the teachers supported me with quick and convenient procedures. I hope the school will create good learning conditions for my child.”

At the high school level, Ho Thi Ky High School (An Xuyen Ward) is also ready to receive students from other places. Mr. Quach Minh Gia, Vice Principal of the school said: "The number of students transferred from Bac Lieu to the school at this time is 29. The review of student numbers and class arrangements is being carried out urgently, ensuring that students are in the right class, in the right program, and that there is no overcrowding or lack of places to study."

Through screening, the number of students from Bac Lieu (old) transferred to study at Ho Thi Ky High School, An Xuyen ward, Ca Mau province is 29 students.

Currently, the provincial Department of Education and Training continues to count the number of students who wish to transfer schools with their parents from Bac Lieu (old) to Ca Mau for work. From there, they will be arranged into appropriate educational facilities according to the wishes of their parents; ensuring the goal of having enough places for all students before the new school year 2025-2026 begins./.
