The National Assembly continues to discuss socio-economic issues, voting to pass two draft laws.

On the afternoon of June 18, the National Assembly will vote on the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality.

According to the Program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on the morning of Wednesday (June 18), the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall, continuing to discuss and evaluate the results of the implementation of the socio -economic development plan and the state budget in 2024; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2025; and approve the state budget settlement in 2023.

In addition, the National Assembly discussed the transition to applying a number of specific mechanisms and policies that have been permitted by the National Assembly to be implemented in a number of localities after restructuring the apparatus and expanding administrative boundaries according to the Party and State's policies; the practice of thrift and anti-waste in 2024; and the results of implementing the national goal of gender equality in 2024 (the meeting was televised and broadcast live).
