Pursuant to the provisions of law and considering the proposal of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Submission No. 65/TTr-BLDTBXH dated October 7, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed a decision to re-issue the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to 2,461 martyrs in 38 provinces and cities, of which Phu Tho province has 118 martyrs.

The “Fatherland’s Gratitude” certificate is a certificate of meritorious contributions of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war, which the State considers eligible and grants. This is not only a certificate of martyrs’ contributions in the process of building and defending the Fatherland in both wartime and peacetime, but also a certificate of eligibility for the martyrs’ relatives.
The re-issuance of the “Fatherland’s Gratitude” Certificate is carried out in cases of loss, missing information due to blurred text or damage. Therefore, if the martyr’s relatives fall into one of the above cases, they will be re-issued the “Fatherland’s Gratitude” Certificate.
In addition to Phu Tho province, the re-issuance of the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate this time also includes the following provinces: Bac Giang , Bac Kan, Bac Lieu, Bac Ninh, Ben Tre, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Dien Bien, Gia Lai, Ha Tinh, Hai Duong, Hau Giang, Hoa Binh, Khanh Hoa, Kien Giang, Lam Dong, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Long An, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Phu Tho, Phu Yen, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Son La, Tay Ninh, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Yen Bai and the cities: Da Nang, Hanoi.
