Sen Ngu commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Ngu Thuy, Sen Thuy, Hung Thuy with an area of about 120.84 km2 and a population of more than 21,150 people; the whole commune has 35 villages.

To carry out tasks in the first days of operation, Sen Ngu commune arranged offices; promptly resolved administrative procedures for people; performed tasks received from the district and transferred from Ngu Thuy, Sen Thuy, and Hung Thuy (old) communes.
At the same time, direct departments and offices to develop socio -economic development plans and allocate budget estimates for the last 6 months of 2025; assign cadres to grasp the locality in villages to promptly handle and resolve arising issues, especially land, environment, construction, etc.
Currently, Sen Ngu commune still faces some difficulties such as: the actual staffing of the government is still insufficient compared to the assigned staffing; operating under the 2-level local government model with a large amount of work, so initially some cadres and civil servants are still confused and bewildered in performing their duties; facilities, working conditions, especially the office are very cramped, having to arrange many areas far apart and some difficulties in the fields of land administration, construction, justice, economy...

At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments and branches focused on discussing difficulties and obstacles in order to soon stabilize and put the new commune-level government model into effective operation.
Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien highly appreciated the efforts and proactiveness in operating the two-level government model in Sen Ngu commune.
At the same time, it is recommended that localities focus on arranging and carefully reviewing cadres and civil servants to arrange work appropriately; promptly fix transmission line problems to resolve administrative procedures for people and businesses...
Regarding the commune's proposals and recommendations, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to synthesize and consider timely resolution.
