According to the announcement of the Gunma Green Wings Club, the 1.90 m tall hitter Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, born in 1997, will wear the number 16 and play as the main striker. Thanh Thuy also made a statement to introduce the new team: "I am very happy to have the opportunity to play in the Japanese National Volleyball Championship with the Gunma Green Wings Club. My teammates and I will try our best and hope to receive everyone's support."
Speaking to Thanh Nien Online , Mr. Phan Hung Cuong, Director of Binh Dien Long An Sports Company (managing VTV Binh Dien Long An Club) confirmed that the club will create the best conditions for Tran Thi Thanh Thuy to compete abroad, realizing her dream of pursuing professional volleyball. "In the near future, Thanh Thuy will play for Gunma Green Wings Club for 1 season, starting from next October. Thanh Thuy's concentration time with the Japanese club will be after she and the Vietnamese women's volleyball team participated in the world championship in August in Thailand," said Mr. Phan Hung Cuong.

The Japanese National Volleyball Championship is no stranger to Tran Thi Thanh Thuy as she played for Denso Airybees in the 2019-2020 season and for PFU BlueCats in the 2021-2024 period. The Gunma Green Wings club that 4T (Thanh Thuy's nickname) joined this time was promoted last year but has not played very impressively. This year, in addition to Thanh Thuy, the team also recruited 2 foreign players: middle blocker Dimitrova (Bulgaria) and main blocker Rozanski (Poland).
