In the second time participating in the 2025 World Police and Fire Games , the Vietnamese Public Security sports delegation had a competition that exceeded expectations: Vietnamese Public Security athletes won 15 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.
Outstanding achievements of the CAND sports delegation were Major Hoang Linh Chi 4 gold medals in winning swimming; shooter Trinh Thu Vinh contributes 2 gold medals; Lieutenant Ngan Ngoc Nghia winning double gold medals in 100m and 200m athletics; karate making its mark with 3 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.
In particular, the Vietnamese Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue team for the first time rose to 4th place in the team competition, winning 2 more silver medals - a big step forward in the group of events requiring specialized skills and modern equipment.
According to the Vietnam Police Sports Association, T&T Group awarded $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000 to athletes who won gold, silver, and bronze medals in the team events, and $500, $300, and $200 for the corresponding individual events. The awards are calculated based on each specific event, helping to encourage the spirit and recognize the outstanding contributions of the athletes.
Taking place from June 23 to July 7 in Birmingham (Alabama, USA), the 2025 World Police and Fire Games brings together thousands of athletes from 70 countries.
The Vietnam People's Public Security delegation competed in many events from high-performance sports to fire prevention and rescue (CHCN) activities, with thorough preparation and clear strategies.
