As part of the series of sideline activities of the 2025 ASEAN Police-Police Football Tournament, on July 8, the participating teams had the opportunity to experience a tour of Ha Long Bay - one of the world's famous natural wonders.
The trip was organized by T&T Group and SHB Bank, the two main sponsors of the tournament, to promote the image of Vietnam and its people to international friends.

Sharing after the tour, player Nguyen Nhan Duc of Vietnam Police Team I expressed his pride in being able to participate in such a meaningful tournament.
“Experiencing a day in Ha Long Bay made me love my country more and feel proud to have the opportunity to introduce Vietnam to international friends. Hopefully after this trip, the other teams will love Vietnam and its people even more,” Nguyen Nhan Duc shared.

Coach Chayong Khumpiam of Thailand could not hide his excitement. He said that this was his first time coming to Vietnam and he was very impressed with the scenery here. "Vietnam is very beautiful, the weather is quite similar to Thailand. But what surprised me the most was the coolness inside Sung Sot cave, completely different from the hot air outside. I was really surprised and excited to visit this place," Coach Chayong shared.
Referee Muhammad Izzul Fikri Bin Kamaruzman is one of four foreign referees officiated at the tournament. The Malaysian referee also had many compliments for the tour. Although he has been to Vietnam four times, this is the first time he has had the opportunity to visit Ha Long Bay.
"I am very happy and excited to see the beauty of this place with my own eyes, especially the turtle-shaped rock in Sung Sot Cave. I have also heard many interesting stories about the image of turtles in Vietnamese culture. For me, in addition to the job of managing matches, trips like this are an opportunity to explore , experience and love the country I set foot in more. I love Vietnam," he confided.

Meanwhile, Cambodian player Sovathe expressed his deep impression of the kindness and friendliness of the Vietnamese people. In addition, he also really likes Vietnamese dishes such as pho, bun cha, banh mi, specialties that he enjoyed during his days in Hanoi.
“I hope that sports, especially the ASEAN Police Football Championship 2025, will be a bridge to further strengthen friendship between countries in the region,” Sovathe shared.
Lao player Souny Sihalat studied and lived in Vietnam for 5 years. But this return is more meaningful to him: "It has been 3 years since I graduated, and I have had the opportunity to return to this land. But this return is more special because I came to Vietnam and participated in the 2025 ASEAN Police-Police Football Tournament as a player for the Laos team. This is a meaningful tournament, helping to strengthen the friendship between countries in the region, especially the brotherly relationship and friendship between Vietnam and Laos," said the player.
The 2025 ASEAN Police-Police Football Tournament will take place from July 7 to July 15 at two locations: Hang Day Stadium and PVF Center. The tournament will bring together 8 teams, including two representatives of the host Vietnam (CAND I and CAND II) and teams from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia and Timor Leste. The teams are divided into two groups, competing in a round-robin to select the top two teams from each group to enter the semi-finals. Not only a sporting event, the tournament is also an opportunity for police forces in the region to strengthen exchanges, increase understanding and work together towards a united and peaceful ASEAN community.
