Every day, Theeraphat Ransaworanan goes to school on horseback. His unique means of transportation quickly made him a phenomenon attracting attention. Theeraphat is currently a 10th grade student at Wisetchaichan Tantiwitthayapoom School (Thailand).
The reason Theeraphat rides a horse to school is to save fuel and protect the environment. In addition, the high school boy often rides a horse to work part-time. He wants to inspire the community with the interesting green lifestyle he is pursuing.

Theeraphat has loved horses since he was a child, he used to beg his grandmother to buy him a horse. After many years of training, he is now a proficient rider and has two horses of his own. He only started riding to school at the end of last school year.
“At first, people stared at me, which made me a little embarrassed. But I really love horses. Riding horses helps save fuel and reduce emissions. I also teach horse riding to local people and participate in traditional processions to earn some pocket money,” Theeraphat said.
After Theeraphat rode a horse to school, Ratchapong - a 7th grader at Wisetchaichan Tantiwitthayapoom School - also rode a horse to school. Ratchapong also mastered horse riding from a young age.
The school principal, Nutchanart Yimchan, expressed her support for the choice of two boys to ride horses to school. She said the two boys had creative personalities.
Ms. Nutchanart said that Theeraphat had applied for permission from the school board to bring the horse to school. After receiving approval, he rode the horse to school. At school, he was always responsible for the care and management of his horse.
