VTV Cup live schedule on July 4 - Graphics: AN BINH
At VTV Cup so far, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has not encountered any really strong opponents. Their victories came easily with a score of 3-0.
Even in the quarterfinals, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team only had to face the young and inexperienced U21 Vietnam team. Up to now, Mr. Kiet's mainstays have rarely played on the field, showing that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has not faced too big of a challenge.
In this semi-final, Chinese Taipei will most likely also be defeated. At the AVC Nations Cup more than 2 weeks ago, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team easily defeated this team 3-0.
Therefore, the ticket to the VTV Cup 2025 final is almost certainly in the hands of the home team. The match between Vietnam and Chinese Taipei will take place at 7:30 p.m.
The other semi-final between Korabelka and the Philippines will start at 5pm.
Meanwhile, at 12:00, there will be a semi-final match for places 5 to 8 between Australia and U21 Thailand. U21 Vietnam will play in the remaining match at 14:30, against Sichuan.
All matches of VTV Cup 2025 will be broadcast on VTV Sports' YouTube and Facebook channels. The match start time may be later than planned, due to the extension of previous matches.
