Clinic suspended from professional activities

According to Mr. Le Quang Hung, the reason for the suspension is that the clinic does not ensure that the staffing conditions are suitable for the scope of professional activities and the scale that has been licensed. The suspension will last from July 9 until the clinic corrects the violations, reports to the Department of Health and is approved to resume operations.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, a Facebook account posted an article with pictures and a clip titled “A medical examination in Quy Nhon Ward costs nearly 10 million VND”. In it, it recounts the incident where Mr. Ng.C. came to see a doctor for “frequent urination at night” at this clinic (located on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Quy Nhon Ward) and was “blatantly ripped off”.

The content of the accusation was previously spread on social networks.

Specifically, on the morning of June 5, Mr. C. was advised of a 3-month treatment course costing 30 million VND. Because he only had 13 million VND, he paid the entire amount in advance. However, when his family asked to stop the treatment and pay the examination fee, they were surprised to be charged more than 8.86 million VND.

The clinic explained that this was the initial cost of the treatment agreed upon with the patient. Receipts were made to ensure complete records and documents. The clinic collected it all at once for convenience, without incurring additional costs during the treatment process.
