Match schedule of U23 Vietnam at the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 tournament

VHO - The Vietnam U23 team will compete in the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, taking place in Indonesia in July to defend the title after 2 consecutive years of winning the championship.

At the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, the Vietnam U23 team is in the same group with Cambodia U23 and Laos U23.

U23 Vietnam is preparing for the regional tournament.

In the group stage, U23 Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22.

At the U23 Southeast Asian arena, U23 Vietnam won the championship twice in a row in 2022 and 2023.

U23 Vietnam gathered again on June 26 in Ho Chi Minh City.

In this training session, coach Kim Sang-sik called up 35 players, with many promising faces and international competition experience.

Notably, 8 players who contributed to the 2023 Southeast Asian U23 Championship continue to be trusted, along with the presence of two overseas Vietnamese players: midfielder Le Viktor (Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club) and striker Bui Alex (Bohemians Praha 1905 B team, Czech Republic).

The team will train here until July 14 before leaving for Indonesia to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, taking place from July 15 to 29.
