Vietnam women's volleyball team enters VTV Cup 2025 final

On the evening of July 4, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team defeated Taiwan (China) with a score of 3-0 in the semi-finals of the VTV Cup 2025 international women's volleyball tournament, thereby winning a ticket to the final match.

It was no surprise when coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet fielded his strongest lineup with Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Tran Thi Bich Thuy to conquer the opponent Taiwan (China).

Encouraged by the home crowd, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and their teammates entered the game strongly, creating an overwhelming attack, thereby winning with a score difference of 25-13 in the first set.

The Taiwanese girls played well, creating an equal match, even leading the home team in the first half of game 2. However, Bich Tuyen's bravery and the evenness of her team helped the Vietnamese women's volleyball team equalize the score and then rise to win 25-19.

The Taiwanese team's efforts only helped them to equalize the score with the Vietnamese team at the beginning of game 3, then they accepted defeat with a score of 16-25 and accepted defeat in the end.

A convincing 3-0 victory over Taiwan helped the Vietnamese women's volleyball team enter the final of the VTV Cup 2025 International Women's Volleyball Tournament. The Vietnamese team's opponent in the final, which will take place at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (July 5), is the defending champion, Korabelka Club (Russia). In the semi-finals, this team defeated the Philippines team 3-1 in an exciting tug-of-war. The final match is full of fate because last season, Korabelka Club defeated the Vietnamese team 3-0.
