Industrial promotion helps rural industrial establishments reach out

Industrial promotion work in the province has gradually become effective, becoming an important driving force to promote the development of industry and handicrafts in rural areas. Many production models have been supported with machinery, technology transfer, and brand building, gradually creating new values, increasing income for workers, contributing to the sustainable development of the locality.

In order to carry out the provincial industrial promotion work, the Department of Industry and Trade has directed the provincial Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting Center to implement support for building technical demonstration models, transferring technology and applying advanced machinery and scientific and technical advances in industrial production - handicrafts.

In 2024, the province supported 23 projects to apply scientific and technical advances, machinery and equipment into production for industries such as coffee processing, rice, dried vermicelli, noodles, rice paper, peanut oil, fish cakes, production of industrial wood panels, fine art wood products, interior wood; mechanical processing, construction, granite processing; audio speakers; industrial sewing... At the same time, it supported 2 projects to build labels for 7 typical ITNT product sets at the provincial, regional and national levels.

Through the support, the projects have been effective, in addition to innovating machinery and equipment, they also help businesses and production facilities change their management methods, improve product image, meet food safety and hygiene requirements, reduce environmental pollution, meet market demand, create jobs and increase income for workers. At the same time, based on the support of industrial promotion projects, a large amount of counterpart capital has been attracted from businesses and facilities in investing in equipment to serve production.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade directed the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting to coordinate with relevant organizations, units and enterprises to inspect and review the list of registered industrial promotion plans of the province in the first phase; organize appraisal and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval to support 15 projects applying advanced machinery and equipment to production. Continue to direct the inspection, review and synthesis of projects registered to supplement the provincial industrial promotion funding plan in the second phase to organize appraisal and submit to the Provincial People's Committee.

Activities to support the development of IT products; support consulting on IT development information, communication work, and support to improve the capacity of organizations to implement industrial promotion activities have been promoted, bringing practical results.

For example, to support the development of IT products, the industry and trade sector has developed plans, organized and participated in domestic fairs and exhibitions such as "Industrial and trade fair, OCOP products and regional specialties of Tay Ninh province in 2025"; "Trade promotion fair for cooperatives in the Central - Central Highlands region in 2025" in Binh Dinh province to create conditions for enterprises, cooperatives, IT establishments to display, introduce, promote product brands, expand markets, joint ventures and associations in production development.

In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade also directed the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting to organize a number of activities such as developing and issuing plans to promote support activities, industrial development consulting and market promotion for industrial products. Implementing the signing of a plan to coordinate market promotion activities for industrial products in the province with the Management Board of Vincom Shophouse - Quang Tri.

Coordinate the signing of a plan to promote industrial promotion support activities for cooperatives and cooperative groups operating in the field of processing and industrial production in the province between the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Cooperative Union. Provide information on trade promotion activities in provinces and cities in the country to enterprises, cooperatives, and rural industrial establishments in the province to know and register to participate in 2025.

At the district level, in 2024, district-level industrial promotion units have implemented and supported 50 projects. Industrial promotion activities mainly focus on the following contents: supporting the construction of models, application of advanced machinery and equipment in production and processing; building product brands and trademarks; organizing and participating in fairs and exhibitions in the province, thereby contributing to promoting the development of industry - handicrafts, rural industries.

Based on the achieved results, in the coming time, the industry and trade sector will continue to promote industrial promotion activities to encourage organizations and individuals of all economic sectors to invest in developing industrial production - small-scale industry in a sustainable manner.

Linking processing with the development of raw material areas, creating jobs, increasing income for workers, contributing to accelerating growth, shifting economic structure towards gradually increasing the proportion of industry - services. Along with that, we will focus on improving the quality of surveys, building industrial promotion projects in the direction of focused and key support; supporting typical industries and products suitable to the potential and competitive advantages of each locality.

Implementing industrial promotion work not only supports machinery and equipment but also creates motivation to promote the spirit of innovation and creativity, increasing the resistance of local enterprises in the context of fierce competition. Promoting the effectiveness of industrial promotion work is the way for the province to promote internal strength, realize the aspiration of developing industry in a sustainable and modern direction, and support the IT establishments to continue to reach out.
