Preserving national cultural identity
Dong Nai is a long-standing land of ethnic minorities such as Stieng, Khmer, Ma, and Choro. After more than 325 years of formation and development, the ethnic people in Dong Nai still maintain their traditional cultural identity with customs, habits, cuisine , etc. expressed through daily life activities.
Coming to Dong Nai , visiting ethnic villages such as: Ma, Stieng, Choro or Bom Bo village, tourists will easily encounter the daily life and eating habits imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic groups. Customs and festivals are strictly maintained such as: New Rice Festival, Yang Koi Worshiping Ceremony, Forest God Worshiping Ceremony...
In particular, when coming to Bom Bo hamlet in Bom Bo commune to visit the place marking the Rice Pounding Movement to Feed the Army in Bom Bo hamlet, visitors will be able to admire and experience the magic of the sounds emitted from the largest stone instrument in Vietnam weighing 20 tons with 20 stone bars, of which the lightest bar weighs 250kg, the heaviest bar weighs 400kg. Also in Bom Bo hamlet, visitors will be amazed to witness the largest gong set made of red copper and tin for performance in Vietnam, of which the gong set consists of 6 pieces weighing more than 1.8 tons and the gong set of 6 pieces weighing nearly 1.7 tons. Both of the above records are recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization.
Dong Nai has 4 national treasures including: Binh Da lithophone collection, Long Giao bronze drum collection, Long Giao bronze pangolin statue and Binh Hoa Vishnu statue. These are priceless treasures, containing typical historical - cultural - scientific values of the nation. Each treasure has different values and meanings, containing thousands of years of historical and cultural stories that scientific researchers always want to explore and answer historical values.
Along with national treasures, Dong Nai has many historical revolutionary works such as Chien Khu D, Ta Thiet Base... which are tourist destinations attracting visitors from inside and outside the province.
Impressive destinations
Dong Nai province is developing more and more tourism products through the province's survey programs. In particular, some typical tourist routes such as the route: Long Khanh - Xuan Loc to visit the national relic of Chua Chan mountain and the capital of the Southeast fruit region in Long Khanh city are attractive destinations for domestic and foreign tourists, especially during the fruit ripening season from June to August every year; or tours to explore forests and lakes with unforgettable experiences for each tourist.

In addition to natural destinations, Dong Nai also has many destinations that have achieved domestic and international titles such as: Son Tien Tourist Area was recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization for 11 record-breaking works; Bo Cap Vang Tourist Area was voted as one of the 10 most favorite eco-tourism destinations by the Intellectual Property and Creativity Magazine in collaboration with the Association of Science and Businessmen and was in the top 7 impressive tourist destinations in Vietnam in 2024; Panorama Glamping tourist destination in La Nga commune was recognized by the Luxury Tourism Awards as the world's Glamping destination in 2024. Notably, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) officially recognized Cat Tien National Park as the 72nd protected area in the world to achieve the IUCN Green List title. This is a big step forward in nature conservation and biodiversity in Vietnam in general and Dong Nai in particular.
