On August 12, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) held the opening ceremony of Vung Tau seafood market at 94 Tran Hung Dao, Ward 1.

Vung Tau City People's Committee has renovated part of Ward 1 market to form this seafood market with a total of 32 stalls on an area of nearly 1,000m2. Of which, 22 stalls sell dried seafood and 10 stalls sell fresh seafood such as shrimp, crab, squid and fish caught by fishermen in local waters.

Vung Tau City People's Committee requires seafood sold at the market to have clear origin and ensure food hygiene and safety according to regulations.
