According to monks at the temple, voluntary blood donation is an activity within the framework of the Summer Retreat program for Buddhist calendar 2569.
The rainy season retreat of Buddhist calendar 2569 is not only an opportunity for monks to concentrate on studying and cultivating their spirituality through discipline, concentration, and wisdom, but also to awaken compassion through actions of sharing for life, vowing to dedicate themselves to service, connecting the Dharma with life through concrete, practical actions.

Venerable Thich Dong Tue - abbot of Da pagoda, who also participated in the blood donation, said: "Each drop of blood donation is a heart of sharing, a connection between religion and life, between spirituality and humanity. This is also a way for monks and Buddhists to contribute to building a humane society, knowing how to love and share. At the same time, it demonstrates the worldly spirit of a Buddhist: "Serving humanity, honoring the Church".

The voluntary blood donation by monks is a noble act, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and responsibility to the community. This action not only helps save the lives of patients but also spreads profound human values, encouraging the spirit of volunteerism in society.
During the voluntary blood donation day of monks at Diec Pagoda, nearly 100 monks and Buddhists participated in donating blood, with more than 70 units of blood collected.
