From July 1, 34 provinces and cities across the country officially put the new apparatus into operation. In recent days, many solutions from units such as Vietnam Post Corporation, MobiFone , Viettel have been deployed to support local officials and people in the process of implementing a two-level local government.

8,000 officials and employees supporting the government

Implementing the Prime Minister's direction in Official Dispatch No. 96/CD-TTg dated June 26, including the content that Vietnam Post Corporation arranges human resources to support the People's Committees at the commune level in receiving and returning results of administrative procedure settlement (TTHC), ensuring stable, smooth, effective, regular, and continuous operations 24/7 when arranging administrative units and implementing the 2-level government organization model.

The Corporation has arranged 8,000 officers and employees to participate in supporting the reception of documents and returning results of administrative procedure settlement at the People's Committees at the commune level.

Of which, 3,340 support staff were arranged at 3,321 People's Committees of communes/wards/special zones; 3,321 postmen were assigned to return results to people; nearly 1,400 people were on duty ready to support when tasks arose at the People's Committees of communes/wards/special zones.

Mr. Chu Quang Hao, General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation, said: "100% of the staff participating in supporting the reception of documents and returning results of administrative procedures at the People's Committees at the commune level have been trained by the Corporation and provincial and city post offices, ensuring sufficient capacity and expertise to support people at the Commune-level Public Administration Service Center.

Vietnam Post also prepares equipment, vehicles, uniforms, infrastructure, and is ready to coordinate with local authorities to receive documents and return results of administrative procedure settlement.

On the first day of implementation, the Corporation organized inspection teams to arrange postal staff to support the Public Administration Service Center in more than 700 communes, equivalent to 25% of the communes nationwide, to ensure quality of service to the people.

MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation in collaboration with the Public Administration Service Centers in a number of provinces and cities across the country officially launched the Information System for handling administrative procedures according to the 2-level local government model.

During the implementation process, MobiFone organized installation support and training for 126 communes and wards, 15 departments, and 12 branches of the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center.

At the same time, MobiFone has assigned nearly 200 staff to ensure that each ward or commune has at least 1 staff member directly responsible for supporting local officials in operation, resolving problems during use, maintaining 5 Hotline numbers and 10 Meeting channels open 24/7 to support officials throughout the official system deployment period from July 1.

AI assistant helps people look up new administrative units

Right after the whole country celebrated the moment of announcing the establishment of new provinces/cities, wards/communes, Viettel launched an AI assistant that can be used via the web to look up all information about new administrative units for all people completely free of charge.

People can use the AI ​​assistant via the web platform at https://tracuuphuongxa.trolyao.org/ to look up information about new administrative units from personal computers, tablets, and smartphones.

With this tool, people can get information about new administrative units including 34 provinces and cities and 3,321 communes and wards that can be looked up quickly and accurately.

The AI ​​assistant also provides a comprehensive handbook on the new provincial and commune-level administrative units, including resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of new administrative units.

Although the merger and arrangement of administrative units have been carefully prepared, there are still difficulties in information search.

The AI ​​assistant is built on a large Vietnamese language model developed by Viettel, designing the model and taking training data from official documents, thus providing high accuracy when looking up new information about administrative units.
