Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ms. Thuy Duong (residing in Tay Ho district, Hanoi ) confirmed the photo of her husband's extended family - including about 50 members - during a trip to Tam Dao from June 16 to 18.

According to Thuy Duong, the 50 people participating in the trip are from 3 generations in the family, from uncles, aunts, to grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

"Every year, the extended family organizes two big reunions: a summer trip and a year-end party. This tradition has been maintained for the past 5 years. In previous years, the whole family went to Sam Son, Ha Long, Hoa Binh ... Everyone agreed to go to the beach one year and to the mountains one year," said Ms. Duong.

To make the trip go smoothly, the whole family started discussing summer travel destinations right from Tet. Luckily, all the members are easy-going and enjoy the atmosphere of family gatherings, so they decided on a destination very quickly.

As assigned, Thuy Duong and the young people were responsible for finding accommodation and booking rooms. The seniors mainly contributed ideas to help make the tour program more cozy and thoughtful.

To prepare for the trip to Tam Dao, Thuy Duong and her siblings rented a 45-seat car and a 19-room villa. In addition to the prepared food for the children, all 30 crabs, squid, shrimp, beef and other foods... were ordered and shipped from Hanoi.

"The trip cost about 180 million VND. The family's journey was always smooth because the members were not too demanding, just needed a spacious place to stay that could accommodate 50 people," Thuy Duong said.

During this year's 3-day, 2-night trip, adults visited Tay Thien Pagoda, took souvenir photos at Tam Dao peak, and children splashed around in the swimming pool after a year of hard study.

A small stage with colorful balloons and the words "Mr. Tinh's big family - hello summer" was placed in the villa grounds. This is the venue for the gala night with interesting games, giving out study encouragement awards, and organizing the first 6 months' birthdays for members.

"All children who attend school in our house receive an academic incentive award. This money is taken from contributions from families, to encourage the children to make more efforts in their studies," she said.

Thuy Duong's husband's extended family are natives of the West Lake area. They have been attached to this land for generations, so they often meet and eat together. Whenever a family needs help, the siblings are ready to join hands. Some contribute labor, some contribute money, without being afraid of hardship.

Receiving many compliments from the online community, Thuy Duong feels happy and proud of her family's tradition of love and support for each other. The younger generation in the family like her and her husband hope to continue to preserve and promote good values, so that love and kindness will always spread.

"Although I have only been a daughter-in-law for 3 years, since I was dating my husband, I have felt the harmony of the family. After getting married and participating in many trips, I feel that close bond even more clearly," she said.
