Previously, a clip appeared on social media from Nguyen Huyen's Facebook account, recording the image of a woman who introduced herself as a "highland teacher", traveling by car more than 2,000km from Ha Giang to Nha Trang.
According to this woman, at 11pm on June 24, she drove her car to Nha Trang Night Market and April 2 Square, Loc Tho Ward, Nha Trang City - now Nha Trang Ward to hang out. However, when she parked her car with nearly 20 other cars, the traffic police came to check.
Because this woman was not driving at the time of the inspection, the traffic police used a tool to lock the wheels and wrote a notice to stick on the car. While the traffic police were writing the notice, the woman came to claim to be the driver, so the traffic police invited her to the headquarters at 21 Thai Nguyen , Nha Trang City at that time to work...
In the clip, the “highland teacher” also said, “No matter how beautiful it is, I still don’t dare to go to Nha Trang by car”… In her confession, the “highland teacher” also criticized that there was no one to guide or remind tourists about parking their cars when they came to April 2 Square and Nha Trang Night Market… Just a few days after being posted, the above clip attracted tens of thousands of views.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province, during rush hour every day, there are always patrol teams deployed to control traffic on key routes in Nha Trang to handle traffic violations and proactively prevent traffic jams. The incident of the Traffic Police handling a vehicle parked in the wrong place occurred at 10:15 p.m. on June 24, on Tran Phu Street, in front of April 2 Square.
During the working session, the patrol team clearly explained to the woman that she had parked her car in a no parking area and that it was the driver's responsibility to observe and obey traffic signs. During the meeting, the woman was also aware of the violation, but because this was a first-time tourist violation, it needed to be handled in a friendly and harmonious manner to contribute to building the image of Nha Trang tourism, so the patrol team did not make a record of the administrative violation, but only reminded and propagated traffic laws. However, later, a clip related to the incident was posted online, creating mixed public opinion.
