On the afternoon of February 15 at Ba Ria - Vung Tau Stadium, U.19 Ba Ria - Vung Tau faced U.19 Da Nang in the opening match of the 2025 National U.19 Championship. U.19 Ba Ria - Vung Tau had the home field advantage, but U.19 Da Nang was the team that took the initiative for most of the match. The son of the former striker of the Vietnam national team that won the AFF Cup 2008, Nguyen Quang Hai - Nguyen Le Quang Khoi, was extremely lucky when he entered the field and scored the only goal to seal the victory for the home team.
