On the afternoon of July 3, a professional meeting took place at the Pickleball D-JOY court cluster with the participation of Mr. Bui Van Phuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tien Phong Joint Stock Company, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Mac Xuan Tung - specialist in charge of pickleball, Department of High Performance Sports 2 - Department of Physical Education and Sports with the referee team running the tournament and members of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Vietnam Pickleball Championship - Hyundai Thanh Cong Cup.
One of the important contents of the professional meeting was the draw for the 2025 Vietnam Pickleball Championship. Based on the number of registered athletes, the Organizing Committee made some adjustments. Accordingly, the professional system will have 6 events including men's singles, men's doubles according to two age groups from 14-34 and 35 years old and up, women's doubles from 31 years old and up and mixed doubles (over 35, women over 31); the grassroots system has 10 events, including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles according to two age groups from 14-34 and 35 years old and up.
In addition, there will be an additional Super Cup match for mixed doubles with a prize of 30 million VND. Thus, the 2025 Vietnam Pickleball Championship has up to 4 matches for the Super Cup, which promise to be extremely attractive, including men's singles, women's singles, professional men's doubles, men's doubles, and amateur mixed doubles.
With a prize fund of over 1 billion VND and a scientific competition system, flexible format, managed by a team of referees who have undergone international training and coaching courses and applied modern technology, the 2025 Vietnam Pickleball Championship will certainly be especially attractive with top performances, then reach the same stature as the sports tournaments that Tien Phong newspaper has initiated and successfully organized.
