Spacious facilities of Hue University of Law

The predecessor was the Faculty of Law of Hue University, established in 1957. In 2015, the faculty was decided by the Prime Minister to be established, becoming the University of Law, Hue University. Specializing in training in the field of law, scientific research, and providing high-quality legal human resources, the school has 2 undergraduate training majors: Law and Economic Law.

The school has spacious facilities, located on an area of 109,900 m² at No. 20, Vo Van Kiet Street, An Cuu Ward, Hue City. The total floor area for training and scientific research is 14,704.8 m². This is an ideal area to build a modern training model, meeting international standards, especially in the context that in recent years, Hue University has been present in global rankings, along with 10-20 university training institutions in Vietnam.

Over the past 10 years, the University of Law, Hue University has invested in building, renovating and upgrading lecture halls, smart libraries, auditoriums with nearly 1,000 seats, conical houses and functional areas such as smart classrooms, trial rooms, one-stop offices, football fields, etc., creating a diverse ecosystem, favorable for students and lecturers to study and research.

38 classrooms - including 14 rooms with 100-200 seats serving teaching and scientific research activities. The school's library and library information center has nearly 60,000 books, smart classrooms with 120 seats, large auditorium with more than 950 seats, all built and equipped with modern sound systems, air conditioning, and LED screens.

Modern computer systems are fully installed in specialized units such as: Faculty of Administrative Law, Faculty of Criminal Law, Faculty of Civil Law, Faculty of Economic Law, Faculty of International Law, Information Center - Library; Center for Legal Consulting & Short-term Training; Center for Law Practice & Entrepreneurship and functional departments.

Coming to the University of Law, Hue University, it is easy to see groups of students engrossed in their favorite events, sometimes relaxing in the canteen on the ground floor of Building E, focusing on group discussions relaxing in the view of the conical building... Entertainment activities, cultural, artistic and sports events according to their interests are also focused on by the school to promote creative thinking, self-study, self-practice... of students. Therefore, the school always has cultural and sports spaces such as 4 soccer fields, 3 volleyball, basketball, tennis courts... so that students have the opportunity to develop comprehensively.

What is interesting to students is that the school is located in the city center but the living standard is quite suitable for students. This is a valuable experience when choosing a place to study in their youth.

The latest news this July is that all classrooms at the school have been equipped with air conditioning. The space is airy, clean, and equipped with modern air conditioning, helping students to study comfortably even on hot days.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Viet Long, Head of Training Department, Hue University of Law, said that the school has proactively prepared well in all aspects from developing the teaching staff to facilities, learning materials, foreign languages and other conditions, ensuring and meeting the maximum requirements of learners, improving the quality of training in the spirit of "taking learners as the center". The development of facilities and modern learning conditions has always been invested in by Hue University of Law and considered as the foundation for innovation in recent years and many years to come, especially in the context of integrated education.
