The market recorded 28 large stocks hitting the floor in red and this color spread to hundreds of other stocks.

At the end of the trading session on June 24, the VN-Index sank nearly 28 points, down to 1,254 points. On the entire HoSE floor (HCMC), there were 378 stocks decreasing and only 74 stocks increasing.

The HNX – Index ( Hanoi Stock Exchange) also decreased by 4 points, to 239 points, with 13 stocks decreasing in price and 39 stocks increasing in price. The UpCom exchange alone decreased by 1 point, to 99 points.

Notably, among the 30 large-cap stocks (VN30 group), 28 codes were in red and this color spread to hundreds of other stocks. Notably, TPB decreased by 3.9%, VBP decreased by 3.8%, SSB decreased by 4.8%, SSI decreased by 2.5%, STB decreased by 3.8%, PLX decreased by 3.7%, MSN decreased by 3.3%...

The above developments surprised many investors because the market did not see any information that could negatively impact stock prices.

Some securities companies even speculate that the strong selling of stocks may be due to investors' insecurity as the market has shown no signs of improvement in the past five sessions.

VCBS Securities Company said that selling liquidity is widespread in many stock sectors. Therefore, investors need to be cautious, not use margin at this time, limit buying new stocks and patiently wait for signs of recovery from the market.
