On the evening of July 1, at Da Lat Opera House, Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat , Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee organized a special art program to celebrate the establishment of the new Lam Dong province, with the theme "Lam Dong with love, reaching out to shine the future".

Attending the program were standing members of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, former leaders of Lam Dong province through the periods; leaders of departments, agencies and branches of the province; along with a large number of local people and tourists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, affirmed that the merger of the administrative boundaries of the three provinces of Lam Dong-Binh Thuan-Dak Nong to form the new Lam Dong province is an event of historical significance. Not only is it an administrative-geographical change, it is also a milestone marking the convergence, solidarity and aspiration for comprehensive development of all three regions rich in tradition and cultural identity.
