Need to open direct flight from Tokyo (Japan) to Cam Ranh soon

On the afternoon of July 3, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DTC) of Khanh Hoa worked with a delegation from Narita Airport (Tokyo, Japan) led by Mr. Kokubo Ushio - Manager of Aviation Sales and Marketing Department to discuss tourism cooperation plans in the coming time. At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism introduced the potential and strengths of Khanh Hoa tourism after the merger with expanded space, more diverse tourism products, in addition to beach resort tourism, there are also cultural tourism products. The Narita Airport delegation shared a lot of information about the development of tourism in Japan and Vietnam; highly appreciated Khanh Hoa tourism. On that basis, the two sides discussed the possibility of opening a direct flight from Narita to Cam Ranh and bilateral tourism promotion programs. Representatives of Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company and Narita Airport proposed to organize famtrip delegations of Japanese travel agencies to survey Khanh Hoa tourism, implement aviation support policies, promote Khanh Hoa destinations in Japan; at the same time, they hoped that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism would play a coordinating role, supporting and promoting the process of opening a direct flight from Narita to Cam Ranh.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Cung Quynh Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism highly appreciated the initiative of the leaders of Narita Airport and Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company in promoting the opening of direct flights. Mr. Cung Quynh Anh suggested that, in the immediate future, the units need to support Japanese famtrip groups to Khanh Hoa and vice versa; Narita Airport supports promotion to attract more Japanese tourists to Khanh Hoa. He said that in the near future, the Provincial People's Committee will work with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, Cam Ranh International Airport... to find solutions to soon realize the opening of direct flights from Japan to Cam Ranh.
