Four workers died in an accident at the Vang Danh coal mine.

Early morning of August 27, talking to Nguoi Dua Tin, Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Vang Danh Ward, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province, said that a serious work accident occurred at 7:20 pm on August 26 at mining workshop 3 of Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company in Vang Danh Ward, killing four workers.

Immediately after the incident, Mr. Vu Van Dien - Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of Quang Ninh provincial departments and branches, representatives of Uong Bi City People's Committee and Vang Danh Ward People's Committee were present at the scene to direct search and rescue work.

On the night of August 26 and early morning of August 27, rescuers brought the bodies of four victims out of the coal mine area. Of the four victims, two were locals and two were from Thai Binh province.

Currently, the authorities of Quang Ninh province are coordinating with Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company to urgently verify and investigate the cause of the accident. At the same time, they are organizing visits and encouraging families whose relatives died in the accident .
