Green Bay 58 capsized:

According to reports from insurance companies, as of July 31, the total amount of compensation and insurance payments for the capsized ship Vinh Xanh 58 in Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) is expected to be 23.4 billion VND.

Of which, for non-life insurance, the total compensation amount is expected to be 3.3 billion VND. Of this amount, the shipowner's civil liability insurance for passengers and crew accident insurance (Bao Long) are expected to be 1.2 billion VND.

The estimated compensation amount for passenger accident insurance (co-insurance by Bao Viet Insurance with PTI, MIC, BSH) is 1.1 billion VND. The estimated compensation amount for credit insurance (AAA) is 1 billion VND.

In the life insurance sector, the total expected insurance payout is VND20.1 billion. Of which, Bao Viet Life is VND1.2 billion, Generali is VND6.25 billion, Manulife is VND7.63 billion, Dai-ichi is VND0.72 billion, Prudential is VND0.23 billion, AIA is VND4.04 billion, Shinhan is VND0.08 billion.

Previously, according to the initial plan, the compensation and insurance payment for the capsized ship Vinh Xanh 58 was 14.27 billion VND.

On the afternoon of July 19, the ship Vinh Xanh 58 capsized in Ha Long Bay due to a storm. After the accident, 39 bodies were found and handed over to their families, 10 people were lucky to survive.
