The announcement ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; leaders of ministries, departments and central agencies; leaders of Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh provinces, Hai Phong city; international organizations, diplomatic missions, embassies of countries in Vietnam; UNESCO Office in Hanoi; research agencies, experts, scientists and a large number of people and tourists.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated, acknowledged and commended the provinces of Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , Hai Phong city, ministries, departments, branches, central agencies, organizations and individuals for closely coordinating, synchronously implementing solutions, overcoming difficulties to research, build, complete the dossier, organize and successfully protect the nomination dossier for the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex and have it listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of Quang Ninh province; as the host locality, it played a key and persistent role throughout the process of building and successfully defending the nomination dossier.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong provinces to continue advising the Government to complete and supplement legal documents, regulations and rules at the national level and local government levels to best protect and promote the value of the Heritage Complex;
Develop specific regulations on the roles and responsibilities of the heritage management apparatus with the participation of ministries, branches, central agencies and provinces and cities, and not only stop at connecting heritage but also promote the value of heritage associated with worthy tourism products; create a spreading influence and motivation for people to participate in activities to preserve, promote and effectively exploit heritage;
The Prime Minister also emphasized that it is necessary to further promote the propaganda and promotion of heritage images. Each citizen will be a cultural ambassador in continuing to spread the unique values of the World Cultural Heritage Complex to international friends, especially on digital platforms, contributing to the development of Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

The World Cultural Heritage Complex of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscapes includes 12 typical and unique relic sites and clusters located in three localities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, and Bac Ninh, with a core area of 525.75 hectares and a buffer zone of 4,380.19 hectares.
Of which, Quang Ninh has 5 relics: Hoa Yen Pagoda, Lan Pagoda, Ngoa Van Pagoda Hermitage, Thai Mieu, Yen Giang Stake Beach; 2 relics in Bac Ninh: Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Bo Da Pagoda; 5 relics in Hai Phong: Kiep Bac Temple, Con Son Pagoda, Thanh Mai Pagoda, Kinh Chu Cave, Nham Duong Pagoda.
With its unique and special values, the Complex of Monuments and Landscapes of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac, whose core is Truc Lam Buddhism, along with the system of temples, stupas, pilgrimage routes, stone steles, woodblocks, and preserved relics distributed over a large space, has been highly appreciated and recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.

The heritage is closely linked to the formation and spread of Truc Lam Buddhism. The fact that rituals, festivals, scriptures and pilgrimages to sacred sites are continuously maintained both in Vietnam and at Truc Lam Buddhist establishments abroad is a testament to the timeliness and lasting vitality of the spiritual philosophy that promotes self-awareness, self-cultivation, living in harmony with nature, loving peace and compassion.
The announcement ceremony is an opportunity to honor the journey of great efforts and determination in preparing the heritage dossier, along with promoting and spreading the image of the World Cultural Heritage Complex of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac to domestic and international friends.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Duc An, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province affirmed that Quang Ninh province, Bac Ninh province and Hai Phong city are committed to promoting a high sense of responsibility, proactively coordinating closely and synchronously in building and organizing the implementation of the plan to manage World Cultural Heritage in accordance with the law and the Convention on the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the World Heritage Committee;
At the same time, it ensures both the preservation of intact values and the promotion of creativity and harmony in the context of sustainable development; turning traditional values into strong endogenous resources, contributing to building an advanced culture with strong national identity, which is the driving force for national development in the era of globalization and deep international integration.
After the Announcement Ceremony, there was a special art program with the theme "Thanh am Yen Tu - A thousand-year heritage" consisting of three parts: "Sacred land at the dragon's head", "Buddhism accompanies the nation" and "Quang Ninh reaches out for integration", recreating the journey of King Tran Nhan Tong founding the Truc Lam Zen sect with the participation of hundreds of artists and folk artisans.
