Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Huyen
- Trinh Huyen rarely appears in the media and public, why is that?
Because I am not destined to be a star! (Laughs) Just kidding! I see that I have many limitations such as my face is not really balanced, I am small, not suitable for being on screen to play leading roles. I am also shy and reserved, so I have few opportunities to expand my relationships and introduce myself to people. And perhaps, I do not have enough luck to have good roles that are suitable for me.
- Your artistic path has been quite difficult, but you are always happy with each role. What makes you think so positively?
I think that everything that comes to me is due to fate, so I live according to fate, happily accepting both luck and misfortune. The actor's job is to portray the character through the roles. Therefore, the role, whether main or supporting, is my career. Since it is a career, it means it will be attached to life. If you want a happy and joyful life, you must be happy with your work and specifically with each role. With that in mind, I am always dedicated, serious and happy with each role.
- How do you convey energy and love for your job to your colleagues?
Whether I play a supporting or a main role, I always have the same thought: Who is the character I am portraying? What must I do to make the audience believe that the character is real in the work? Therefore, I am always dedicated to each role from rehearsal to performance. There are times when I rehearse on stage and my colleagues tease me: You rehearse and perform on stage, who can follow you? You haven't acted for a long time, why are you so thirsty?...
In addition, I always suggest that my co-actors practice as if it were real because I am not afraid of pain or fatigue. Bao Thanh has told me many times: Every time I get tired from practicing, looking down and seeing our older sister gives me the motivation to continue practicing.
Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Huyen is radiant at the age of 45.
- Currently, you are also a screenwriter. How do you keep the passion for your job?
It can be said that in misfortune, there is luck! Because I don't get to play as many good roles as I want, all my dreams are poured into the characters I create. That's why I want to move into the field of screenwriting. I write to express my passion for creating characters on paper through words and am continuing to learn so that more of my characters can come to life on stage!
- In the movie "With you, there is peace" currently being shown on VTV, your role as the commune secretary is known to many people. In real life, do audiences often call you like in the movie?
I was very happy to be in a movie that was shown in prime time on VTV. That's why the interaction on Facebook was higher. After the movie was aired, everyone called me the commune secretary. The same thing happened in the neighborhood where I live. Someone even made me dumbfounded for a moment when he asked: Is the secretary here instead of having a meeting today? I didn't expect the smallest role in the movie to have such "great power"!
Late happiness
Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Huyen's happy family.
- Why did you get married at the age of 37? Can you share a little about your family life?
In marriage, fate is perhaps the most obvious expression! When you desire and search for it, marriage does not come. When you let go and do not think about it, it comes. My marriage is like a gift from the universe. Currently, I am happy with my family, having a loving and respectful husband and mother-in-law; and 2 children, a boy and a girl, who are well-behaved and healthy. Everyone creates conditions for me to be free in life and work.
- How do you take care of and educate your children to pursue a positive lifestyle?
I think that all the teachings are not as strong as what I do. Therefore, I create a positive lifestyle every day so that my children see me as an active, happy, smiling person, thinking and acting kindly, sincerely and lovingly, and gradually they will feel and follow.
- On social networks, you often post pictures of you with nature. Is that your happiness in life?
I always find nature beautiful: from the grass, trees, flowers and leaves around my house, the road I walk on, or the chirping of birds every morning when I wake up. Everything makes me happy, joyful and grateful. I love nature, so if I have the chance, the place I go to is a place with beautiful nature instead of bustling cities. I especially love the sea. The sea makes me a free, carefree child, but the sea also makes me tremble and scared...
The artist especially loves nature.
- What kind of living habits do you maintain to always have energy?
I find that a natural lifestyle is best for me, it makes me change positively. If I am not busy with work, I always sleep before 11pm and wake up at 4:30-5am. I meditate and exercise. Exercising in the early morning sun until I sweat gives me more energy and makes me healthy in body and mind. I read, listen, watch... positive things and stay away from negativity... I practice gratitude every day because to me, being alive is a blessing!
- What is your love language for family and colleagues?
Sincere and loving. Because I think only sincerity can make any relationship last. Only love can make me happy!
