On the evening of August 17, Nha Trang Xua area (Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa ) launched a traditional craft village space and a live show "Legendary Light" attracting hundreds of visitors.

The show "Legendary Light" is staged on the surface of a large lotus pond, where the water becomes a mirror reflecting magical stories.
This show recreates fishing villages, handicraft villages, Cham pottery villages and ethnic communities living together, all blending in the lifestyle, cultural exchange, labor and aspiration of our ancestors.
"Legendary Light" lasts for 30 minutes with 5 parts including Weaving Dreams, Love of Pottery and the Sea, Storm, Legendary Light and Interwoven Happiness, combining folk dance, traditional musical instruments and lighting techniques.
Focusing on enjoying the performances on the lotus pond, Ms. Hoang Nhu Quynh (tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) expressed her impression when the show brought folk dance combined with traditional musical instruments and magical lighting effects.
"Although only 30 minutes long, the show presented many neat and meaningful parts. This show left the deepest impression on me during my one week trip to Nha Trang," said Ms. Quynh.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Thang - Permanent Vice President of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association - assessed that this show is not only a unique tourism product but also a message of pride and awareness of preserving cultural identity in modern urban life.
"The program brings many new travel experiences alongside the famous destinations of the coastal city of Nha Trang, thereby contributing to the restoration, preservation and promotion of cultural values in life, spreading and elevating the value of Vietnamese culture to international tourists" - Mr. Thang shared.

Craft villages of ancient Nha Trang people
At the Nha Trang Xua craft village space, visitors can experience traditional, long-standing crafts such as Vinh Thai mat weaving, Lu Cam pottery making, incense making, hat making... all restored in their original form.
Here, visitors not only watch, but also spin each incense stick, shape each piece of pottery, wrap each cake, or light the stove with the artisans.
The representative of the craft village said that visitors here can not only make traditional handicraft products by themselves, but also find the cultural roots and vibrant heritage of Khanh Hoa.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (a tourist from Hanoi ) visited the Nha Trang Xua craft village space for the first time and said she was very surprised to see an ancient village space with traditional craft villages present in the heart of the coastal city.
"My daughter really enjoys learning how to make pottery and figurines. For my family, this is an unforgettable experience," said Ms. Mai.
