Two students drowned while wading in a stream in Da Nang

On the morning of August 1, information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police said that the bodies of two missing students had been found in the Vung Bot area, the upstream stream of Cu De River (Hai Van Ward, Da Nang City).

Previously, at around 6:30 a.m. on August 1, in the Vung Bot area, a stream upstream of the Cu De River (Hai Van Ward, Da Nang City), two students were wading in the stream when they slipped and fell and went missing. Immediately afterwards, local people reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force coordinated with Hai Van Ward Police and related units to arrive at the scene and search for the two victims.

At 10:00 a.m. the same day, the bodies of the two victims were found and handed over to their families.

The victims were identified as NQT (born in 2005, residing in Hai Chau ward) and NTT (born in 2005, residing in Son Tra ward, Da Nang city).
