New look of Vung Tau beach after 1 year of construction

The project to renovate Thuy Van Street, Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City is part of a long-term strategy to develop a chain of coastal tourist urban areas in the direction of green urban areas. The project aims to improve the quality of urban infrastructure and living environment.

After more than 9 months of construction, the nearly 1,094 billion VND project has helped Thuy Van Road - a 3.2km long coastal route through Bai Sau, Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, to take on a new look, with an open space towards the sea.

Thuy Van Road began to be renovated and built from the end of October 2024 on a 19.2ha land area, stretching 3.2km along the back beach. This is an important coastal route , connecting many prominent tourist destinations of Ho Chi Minh City, expected to create a new look and promote local economic and tourism development.

The Thuy Van road improvement project includes 12 main items, notably the renovation and upgrading of the road's technical infrastructure, the construction of a coastal park and Thuy Van Square. Along the route, there are also 5 planned pedestrian tunnels connecting the hotel and service areas to the sea, creating convenience for tourists and residents to access the beach.

The highlight of the project is Thuy Van Square - a project that is being accelerated for completion on August 20.

Six public service stations have been built along the entire route, of which the basic frame has been completed and the remaining items are being constructed synchronously to ensure quality and put into use soon.

After more than 9 months of construction, the coastal space has become more spacious and modern, creating a landscape highlight and enhancing the experience for people and tourists when coming to Vung Tau.

Items such as sidewalks, parks, lighting systems and pedestrian bridges overlooking the sea have been basically completed.

Thousands of new trees and grasses were planted along the route, creating a cool green landscape, while expanding the view towards the sea, contributing to the formation of a modern, friendly and close-to-nature coastal space.

According to the investor, the project has completed more than 90% of the work.

The Thuy Van road renovation project not only upgrades infrastructure but also demonstrates the direction of developing a green , smart and tourist-friendly urban area.

The entire project is expected to be completed on August 20, marking an important turning point in creating a classy, friendly coastal space that serves the diverse needs of domestic and foreign tourists .
