The central report at the conference stated: The military science and technology work in the first 6 months of 2025 has been comprehensively and synchronously deployed, closely following the resolutions of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the directives of the Ministry of National Defense , meeting the requirements of military and defense tasks. The direction, management, and operation work has been innovated, and many military science and technology activities have been successfully organized. Difficulties and obstacles have been promptly removed, the implementation progress has been accelerated, and a number of key science and technology (S&T) programs, projects, and tasks have been completed. The consultation on the development of criteria and a list of weapons and technical equipment (VKTBKT) of strategic significance has been completed; the list of S&T tasks and investment projects to strengthen the key S&T potential for the period 2025-2030 has been completed.

Along with that, the task of compiling training documents is focused on, improving the quality of compilation to be close to the requirements of practical training, education, and combat readiness. The military science and technology sector actively builds legal documents in accordance with the State's documents and the characteristics of military and national defense; the work of building potential and cooperation in science and technology is focused on promoting; the work of information on military science and technology is deployed promptly; the work of environmental management and protection is focused on and deployed effectively.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Colonel, Dr. Duong Minh Hai, Director of the Department of Military Science and Technology, suggested that in the coming time, agencies and units continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the resolutions and conclusions of the Party, the Central Military Commission, strategies and plans of the Government and the Ministry of National Defense on science and technology, environment and innovation in the Army. Review, study, amend, supplement, build new and perfect the system of legal documents on science and technology in accordance with the Law on Science and Technology and Innovation, and new legal documents of the State.

At the same time, deploy the development and implementation of projects, plans, and programs for research and development of strategic military equipment and technology products for the 2025-2030 period that have been approved by the Ministry. Organize the implementation of research and compilation of the Vietnam People's Army's Combat Command, training materials, and teaching materials according to plan, ensuring quality and progress.

Perform well the state management function on environmental protection; organize environmental impact assessment and grant environmental licenses for investment projects in the Army to ensure quality and progress. Advise on management and effectively organize the implementation of tasks and projects on environmental protection, climate change response, projects on overcoming the consequences of toxic chemicals/dioxin, bombs and mines. Promote scientific and technological cooperation between organizations inside and outside the Army; research and develop an international cooperation project for the period 2025-2035 on science and technology development and innovation; strengthen international cooperation on overcoming the consequences of war.
