Binh Thuan - Tuyen Quang cooperate in the fields of culture, sports and tourism

In order to promote, introduce and advertise the image, beauty, culture, people and tourist destinations of the two provinces, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan and Tuyen Quang have just agreed on a cooperation program in the fields of culture, sports and tourism in 2023.

Through organizing cultural, sports and tourism activities to continuously consolidate and promote traditions, continue to affirm and strengthen the good relationship between the two provinces, Binh Thuan and Tuyen Quang will coordinate to organize cultural, sports and tourism activities in the two localities. That is Thanh Tuyen Festival taking place from September 20 to 27 in Tuyen Quang city. The event includes the 14th "Through the Viet Bac Heritage Sites" tourism program and Thanh Tuyen Festival 2023 with activities such as: Opening Ceremony, Thanh Tuyen Night, Trade - Tourism Fair...

Along with that, within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", the Binh Thuan and Tuyen Quang Culture - Tourism Week will take place from October 21 to 24 in Phan Thiet city with many activities such as: Cultural and artistic exchange performances, Binh Thuan - Tuyen Quang exhibition space, space to introduce and promote tourism, OCOP products, Tuyen Quang cuisine in Binh Thuan, opening and closing programs... On this occasion, the Tuyen Quang province's ethnic art troupe will also perform for the people of Phan Thiet city, La Gi town and Ham Thuan Bac district.

Along with the activities in 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan and Tuyen Quang also agreed to organize cultural, sports and tourism activities in 2024 and the following years. The two provinces will take turns organizing (every 2 years) the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Exchange Week in Tuyen Quang (in 2024), in Binh Thuan (in 2026) and continue to take turns in the following years. Exchange art performances to serve political tasks every 2 years in the 2 provinces. In addition, they will coordinate to organize the naming of streets, schools, public works, etc.

In the field of sports, in addition to regularly exchanging expertise and sharing experiences in sports activities, Binh Thuan and Tuyen Quang will cooperate in training and developing high-performance sports that are suitable to the needs and capabilities of the two localities. In tourism, the two provinces will cooperate in developing tourism products connecting the two localities, promoting and coordinating tourism and supporting state management of tourism. Every year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan will organize a delegation of tourism and travel businesses to participate in the Tourism Year activities of Tuyen Quang province.

In addition, there is also a program of cooperation in communication, promotion, and coordination in organizing activities under the Cooperation Program between the Provincial Youth Unions of the two provinces on implementing Youth Union work and youth movements for the period 2023 - 2027.
