It is expected that the houses will be completed before July 27, 2025.
Mr. Dao Thanh Phong, Secretary of the Phong Hiep Commune Party Committee, said: "In order to complete the construction of houses for policy households on schedule, the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee have established teams and groups including the police force, militia, women, union members, youth and volunteers to participate in supporting the workdays of dismantling houses, supporting the transportation of materials, assisting in construction... Mobilizing more support from benefactors in the area, whoever has contributed their work, whoever has contributed their money so that the houses can be completed soon and meet quality standards."
Forces participated in supporting the demolition of the house of veteran Pham Van Lu's family, residing in Hamlet 4, to build a new house.
For example, on the morning of July 12, Phong Hiep commune just started building a house for veteran Pham Van Lu (92 years old), residing in Hamlet 4. Mr. Lu lives with his wife and youngest son, and his life mainly depends on farming, with an unstable income. The old house has seriously degraded, and many places have to be temporarily covered with plastic.
Having received support to build a new house, Mr. Lu emotionally shared: “I am very honored to receive the attention of the Party and the State. The new house is not only my pride but also a lesson in revolutionary ideals to teach my children and grandchildren to continue the family tradition.”
Mr. Dao Thanh Phong, Secretary of Phong Hiep Commune Party Committee (right, 2nd) and Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuan, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee (left cover) broke ground to build a house for veteran Pham Van Lu.
Supporting the construction and repair of houses for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs is a work of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the care and concern of the Party, State and the whole society for families of people with revolutionary contributions, with the desire to express gratitude for their great contributions to the homeland and country, and at the same time help families stabilize their lives./.
