Bien Ho commune was established on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population size of 4 communes: Nghia Hung, Ha Bau, Chu Dang Ya, Bien Ho. After the arrangement, Bien Ho commune has a total natural area of 170.44 km 2 .
The whole commune has 40 hamlets and villages; population size is 40,983 people, of which ethnic minorities account for over 41%.
Recently, the commune has issued documents to lead and direct the operation of the organizational apparatus after the merger; assign and arrange cadres, civil servants and public employees to ensure the performance of tasks.
The Commune Public Administration Service Center operates effectively, creating conditions for people to easily access, reducing time and costs when handling administrative procedures locally.
From July 1 to 9, the Commune Public Administration Service Center received 239 applications; of which 197 applications were received and processed directly and 42 applications were received online.
Preparations for the Commune Party Congress were basically carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Central and the province.
At the meeting, the leaders of Bien Ho commune raised a number of difficulties and problems. Specifically, technological equipment and means for work have not been invested in synchronously; some villages and hamlets in the commune after the merger still have the same name, and there are no instructions for changing the name.
Making recommendations to the working delegation, the representative of the commune leader requested the Provincial People's Committee to issue a document assigning the task of clearing the land for the Eastern economic corridor road through Nghia Hung commune (old) so that the commune has a basis for implementation; support funding, invest in building traffic infrastructure; and soon implement the master plan for the construction of Bien Ho - Chu Dang Ya tourist area.
In addition, the People's Committee of the commune also requested departments and branches to pay attention to coordinating and supporting the commune to speed up the progress of adjusting the commune's general planning.

At the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Rah Lan Chung acknowledged the initial results in the commune's activities after the merger.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: After the merger, Bien Ho commune has a large area and population. This is a favorable condition to expand the development space, facilitate the planning of agricultural development; community tourism... Therefore, in the development roadmap, on the basis of awakening the local potential, the commune needs to calculate and propose plans to exploit the development space well.
With the potential for tourism development, the commune needs to create favorable conditions for investors. At the same time, the commune needs to form plans to calculate and develop experiential activities, accommodation, destinations, connect tourists, develop eco-tourism associated with spiritual tourism.
Along with that, the commune continues to study the feasibility of connecting routes to facilitate traffic to connect tourist destinations in the area; pay attention to developing rural markets and typical agricultural products in ethnic minority villages.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested Bien Ho commune to continue to strengthen the assurance and maintenance of security and order in the area. Continue to effectively manage public assets after the merger; overcome difficulties, quickly stabilize, and promote efficiency in handling administrative procedures to better serve the needs of the people.
The commune needs to review, inspect, and issue working regulations and rules; evaluate the operating mechanism through the reception of executive documents; information technology system, means, and working machinery; and control financial issues well. In addition, the commune must prepare well for all work for the Party Congress.

On this occasion, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Rah Lan Chung presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to the Party Committee, People's Committee of the ward, and the Police of Bien Ho commune.
