Gia Lai audience moved by “Red Rain”

(GLO)-During this year's National Day holiday, at several cinemas in the province, many audiences lined up to buy tickets to see the movie "Red Rain". Many screenings were quickly sold out, reflecting the special appeal of this work shortly after its release.

Right in the lobby area of ​​some theaters, the space is "painted" with the brilliant red color of the national flag. In front of the prominent posters of "Red Rain", many audiences excitedly took photos and checked in to preserve the moment.

At CGV Quy Nhon Cinema (Quy Nhon Nam Ward), “Red Rain” officially premiered on August 21 and immediately became the center of attention at the theater. After only one day of premiere, the number of screenings was increased, accounting for 90% of the total number of screenings for the day. According to Ms. Luu Thuy Na - Manager of CGV Quy Nhon Cinema, on September 1 alone, the theater arranged 15 screenings in 3 rooms, with a total of 1,866 tickets to serve the audience.

In particular, to show gratitude to Vietnamese veterans, CGV also launched a program to give free tickets to the movie "Red Rain" for veterans or guests wearing military uniforms when coming to the theater. The program applies to all screenings from August 31 to September 3 across the CGV system.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong (in Quy Nhon Nam ward) said: "I took my whole family to see the movie. The movie partly depicts the fierceness of the war, especially in Quang Tri citadel - where I went and listened to the explanation about the 81 days and nights of heroic fighting of our army and people. My father also participated in the resistance war against the US, so he was quite impressed with many details in the movie."

In addition, "Red Rain" also succeeds in bringing history closer to young people thanks to its modern storytelling, tight film pacing, emotional images and moving music .

Sharing after watching the film, Ms. Nguyen My Duyen (Quy Nhon Bac ward) shared: "I was really moved by some scenes that depicted quite realistically the bombs and bullets on the battlefield, the sacrifices of steadfastly sticking to the battlefield to preserve every inch of land in the Citadel... The film has tragic details that I could not imagine, making me more grateful and appreciative of the contributions of those who fell for the Fatherland."

At Touch Cinema (Pleiku ward), the "Red Rain" screening was also quickly sold out, with people lining up early to buy tickets. On September 1 and 2, the cinema arranged 24 screenings per day, from 8:25 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Each screening room is equipped with 117 single seats and 4 double seats, serving a maximum of 125 audiences per screening.

Many viewers believe that the release time also contributed to the film's success, thanks to its resonance with the spirit of patriotism and national pride on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Ms. Ro Lan Hang (Do village, Ia Dok commune) emotionally shared: “Watching movies on National Day made me much more emotional. There were times when the whole theater was silent, only the audience's sobs remained. I understand that today's peace is not easy to achieve.”
