On the evening of National Day, September 2, where will Hanoi display fireworks and where will you see them most clearly?

The Hanoi People's Committee said that to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, on the evening of September 2, the city will organize fireworks displays at 6 locations to serve the people.

Hanoi fireworks at 6 locations

There are 2 locations for high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude and pyrotechnics : in front of the headquarters of Hanoi Moi newspaper and in front of Hanoi Post Office (Hoan Kiem district).

4 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display locations are located at: Coconut Island - Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung District), in front of the Water Sports Palace - National Sports Complex (Nam Tu Liem District), Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho District) and Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong District).

According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the fireworks will be launched simultaneously at 9 p.m. and last for 15 minutes . The total number includes 3,600 high-altitude fireworks and 540 low-altitude fireworks , with a cost of about 13.45 billion VND .

To serve the event, Hanoi Police have made a detailed plan to divide and guide traffic, ensure vehicles transport fireworks and equipment to the battlefield smoothly, and arrange fire prevention and fighting forces at the firing points.

The People's Committees of Hoan Kiem, Nam Tu Liem, Tay Ho and Hai Ba Trung wards will strengthen communication, organize cultural and artistic activities to serve the people, and at the same time prepare response plans for arising situations.

Residents and visitors are advised to arrive early and use public transport to avoid congestion. Alternatively, they can choose hotels or cafes with a clear view to fully enjoy the fireworks and avoid crowds in public places.

Ideal places to watch fireworks in Hanoi on National Day September 2

For a complete experience, residents and tourists can refer to the best "coordinates" to watch fireworks and suggestions for convenient accommodations.

Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street is considered a golden location to admire fireworks. The open space, located right next to the lake, combined with many restaurants and cafes with a view of the water, creates an experience of enjoying food while watching fireworks light up the center of the capital.

In addition, skybars in the old town such as Ignite Sky Bar, Sky Bar - La Siesta, Terraco Sky Bar or Sol Sky Bar are also attractive options. From the high floors, visitors can have a panoramic view of Hoan Kiem Lake shimmering in the light.

If you want more privacy, many high-rise hotels such as Melia, Movenpick, Apricot, Pan Pacific, Silk Path or Grand Hotel du Lac offer ideal views from balconies or high-rise rooms.

Next to that, the My Dinh stadium square area always attracts a large number of people during every festival. With a large space, this is an ideal meeting place to enjoy fireworks and immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere.

Those who prefer privacy can choose apartment buildings such as The Manor, Golden Palace Me Tri, My Dinh Pearl or The Matrix One. From the high-rise balcony, you can still fully admire the fireworks display. Another option is the Sky Bar of the Sheraton Hanoi West Hotel, which has a direct view of the firing site.

In Ha Dong area, Van Quan lake offers an open space with a park and walking paths around the lake. This is an ideal place for people to watch fireworks and enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Nearby apartment buildings offer the experience of watching fireworks at home, while many cafes such as Fordeer, Xanh Cafe, Cuc Cu Cafe or Laika provide cozy spaces, suitable for waiting for the moment the sky lights up.
