Beautiful images at the 80th Anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2

In the heroic atmosphere of the historic autumn days, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd was solemnly celebrated with a large-scale military parade. Tens of thousands of cadres, soldiers, and people marched together, recreating the strength of great national unity, affirming their firm belief in the country's development path.

Party and State leaders attended the ceremony.

The opening ceremony was a drum performance with the theme "National Drum Festival" performed by 2,000 members of the National Drum Festival Art Troupe. The performance was meant to express the cultural identity and aspiration for peace of the Vietnamese people.

Helicopters carrying the Party flag and the national flag of the heroic Vietnam People's Air Force fly over the capital's sky.
